From those early beginnings, St. Mary's Hospital continues to reflect the philosophy of the Sisters of Providence which is:

  • that the care of the sick is a sacred trust

  • that God is the author of human life which is precious and cherished from the moment of conception until death

  • that everyone, without exception, is to be treated with dignity and respect

  • that everyone is to be treated in a fair and just manner
